Lyssa Mandel is an actor, comedian, writer, and neurotic hippie.

She's appeared in High Maintenance, the upcoming film Going In Style opposite a very angry Michael Caine, dir. Zach Braff, and multiple international commercials as the token chubby-but-charming chick (???!).

She's been producing and hosting her live, interview-style, adolescence talk show The Bitch Seat for over two years at venues on both coasts, including The PIT, Union Hall, (le) poisson rouge, and the Nerdist Showroom at Meltdown Comics.

LA Weekly says she wants to be Oprah. She will not refute that.

Lyssa has been improvising, storytelling, and doing stand-up for over five years at The PIT, UCB, Annoyance, Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, and various delightful bars and basements.

She's a self-taught jewelry designer, a perpetual student of consciousness and enlightenment literature, a practitioner of the Williamson Movement Technique, and a voracious observer of city folk every day. She loves tomatoes, bright colors, mid-century modern design, and desert flora.

People seem to think she's funny when she's on an angry rant, so look for her at a stand-up show near you.
